Analysis of the relationships with a focus on domestic violence in Vladimír Páral's Radost až do rána

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu postav a vztahů v románu Radost až do rána Vladimíra Párala s důrazem na identifikaci a charakterizaci potenciálních prvků domácího násilí. Teoretická část se zabývá koncepty citové vazby, volby partnera a definicí domácího násilí. Dále jsou představeny typologie literárních postav, dobové souvislosti autorova díla a jeho recepce. Hlavní část práce vychází z konkrétních pasáží zkoumaného románu a zaměřuje se na detailní analýzu postav a jejich vztahů. Zvláštní důraz je kladen na partnerské vztahy a projevy domácího násilí v nich.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of characters and relationships in the novel ‘Radost až do rána’ by Vladimír Páral, with an emphasis on identifying and characterizing potential elements of domestic violence. The theoretical part deals with concepts of emotional attachment, partner selection, and the definition of domestic violence. Additionally, it introduces typologies of literary characters, the historical context of the author's work, and its reception. The main part of the thesis is based on specific passages from the examined novel and focuses on a detailed analysis of characters and their relationships. Special emphasis is placed on romantic relationships and manifestations of domestic violence within them.
