Analysis of the current situation of passenger public transport in the Moscow-St. Petersburg route

Abstract:

Diplomová práce má za cíl provést analýzu současného stavu osobní veřejné dopravy v relaci Moskva-Petrohrad, která v sobě zahrnuje porovnání dopravců dle metody váženého součtu na základě vybraných kritérií a zjištění nejlepšího představitele osobní veřejné dopravy z pohledu cestujících v této relaci. Teoreticko-metodologická část práce se v první řadě věnuje vymezení základních pojmů zkoumané problematiky, představení osobní veřejné dopravy v Ruské federaci, včetně dopravních systémů měst Moskva a Petrohrad. Na konci teoreticko-metodologické části je představená bodovací metoda zjištění vah kritérií spolu s metodou váženého součtu. V praktické části jsou popsány veškerý dopravci v relaci Moskva-Petrohrad a je proveden výzkum, součástí, kterého je dotazníkové šetření nutné pro stanovení vah jednotlivých kritérií. Následuje porovnání dopravců mezi sebou za pomocí metody váženého součtu. V závěru práce jsou mimo jiné shrnuty výsledky provedeného výzkumu.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis aims to analyze the current state of passenger public transport in the Moscow-St. Petersburg route, which includes a comparison of carriers according to weighted sum methods based on selected criteria and finding the best representative of passenger public transport from the perspective of passengers in this route. The theoretical and methodological part of the work in the first phase is devoted to defining the basic concepts of the researched issues, the introduction of public passenger transport in the Russian Federation, including the transport systems of the cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg. At the end of the theoretical and methodological part, the scoring method for determining the weights of criteria together with the weighted sum method is presented. The practical part describes all means of transport in the Moscow-St. Petersburg route and there is a proven research, which includes a questionnaire survey requiring the determination of the weights of individual criteria. It is a comparison of carriers with each other using weighted sum methods. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes, among other things, the results of proven research.
