Fear factor at work tutor in a children's home

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřená na různé pohledy na strach, který ovlivňuje práci vychovatelů v dětském domově. Je rozdělena do dvou částí, a to teoretické a praktické. První část definuje strach, přibližuje prostředí dětského domova a různé pohledy na strach jako emoci. Druhá, praktická část, je zaměřená na zjištění nejsilnější oblasti motivů strachu. Dále na určení jevu vyvolávajícího nejintenzivněji strach. Použitou výzkumnou metodou je Q-metodologie. Její výzkumné prostředky se zaměřují na různé jevy, se kterými se vychovatel v dětském domově setkává. Respondenty se stali vychovatelé ze dvou dětských domovů. Z výsledků šetření je patrné, že vychovatelé nejvíce prožívají strach o děti, případně mají strach o jejich budoucnost po návratu do biologické rodiny/umístění do pěstounské péče.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on different perspectives of fear influencing the work of the educators in the children?s home. It is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical one. The first part defines the fear, describes the environments of the children?s home and the different views on fear as an emotion. The second, practical part is focused on finding the strongest field of fear motives. Furthermore, on determining the effect that induces the fear the most intensely. As a research method there has been used the Q-methodology. Its research tools focus on different phenomena, which surround the tutor in the children's home. The respondents are represented by the educators from two children?s homes. The results of the survey show that the educators worry the most about the children, or they are worried about their future after returning to the biological family / the placement in foster care.
