Vegetation of mesic, wet and fen meadows of the NE part of the Horní Bečva cadastre and conservation of their biodiversity

Abstract:

Touto prací přináším poznání o vegetaci mezických, mokřadních a rašelinných luk v seve-rovýchodní části obce Horní Bečvy v CHKO Beskydy. Tyto nelesní biotopy mohou být významné z pohledu biodiverzity a ochrany přírody. Významnými lokalitami jsou zejména oblasti Mečová, Kudlačena nebo Podlízaná. Na území jsem pořídila vlastní fytocenologickou dokumentaci se záměrem zachytit druho-vou bohatost rostlinných společenstev. Zapsala jsem 30 snímků, které jsem spojila se sním-ky z území, dostupnými v České národní fytocenologické databázi. Výsledných 58 snímků jsem rozlišila do sedmi vegetačních skupin: A – mezotrofní rašelinné louky s ostřicí obec-nou, B – přechodová rašeliniště s nízkými ostřicemi, C – horské vlhké louky s krabilicí chlupatou, D – karpatské vlhké louky s pcháčem potočním, E – mezofilní podhorské a hor-ské smilkové trávníky, F – přechodná vegetace mezi vlhkými loukami s pcháčem potočním a psinečkovými pastvinami a G – karpatské psinečkové pastviny. Součástí práce je také rešerše přírodních poměrů, shrnutí legislativní územní ochrany území a aktivního managementu nejcennějších ploch. Práce se zaměřuje na ohrožené druhy.

Abstract:

Through this work I'm handing over a knowledge about mesic vegetation, wetland and fen meadows in the northeastern part of the cadastral area of Horní Bečva in the Beskydy. These non-forest habitats may be important from the point of view of biodiversity and nature con-servation. In particular, the areas of Mečová, Kudlačena or Podlízaná are significant sites. I made my own phytocenological documentation in the area with the intention to capture the species richness of plant communities. I obtained 30 phytocenological plots from the years 2022–2023, which I combined with 28 phytocenological plots from the same area available in the Czech National Phytocenological Database. I divided the resulting 58 images into seven vegetation groups: A - mesotrophic fen meadows with common sedge, B - transitional fen bogs with dwarf sedge, C - mountain wet meadows with Hairy Chervil, D - Carpathian wet meadows with brook thistle, E - mesophilic foothill and mountain bentgrass meadows, F - transitional vegetation between wet meadows with brook pansy and dog-tail grassland, and G - Carpathian dog-tail grassland In the work I also include a review of natural conditions, a summary of the spatial conserva-tion legislative of the area and active management of the most valuable areas. Also I recognize endangered plants in this area.
