Philosophical starting point of environmental ethics

Abstract:

Diplomová práce představuje filosofický pohled na problém etiky mezi člověkem a přírodou. Pojednává o jednotlivých filosofických přístupech k ekologické krizi, o smyslu a hodnotách mimolidského světa, o odlišných způsobech vnímání přírody. Práce přiblíží spor mezi antropocentrickými a neantropocentrickými přístupy, představí přednosti i nedostatky antropocentrismu a biocentrismu. Spor o ekologickou etiku zde zůstává otevřený, ale nabízí se cesta vzájemného sbližování se obou koncepcí. Závěrem se práce zabývá příčinami narušení přírody a možnými přístupy k řešení ekologického problému. Jsou uvedeny zejména strategie filosofické, stručně je věnována pozornost také trvale udržitelnému rozvoji.

Abstract:

Graduation thesis introduces philosophical point of view of ethics between human and nature. It is about philosophical approaches to ecological crisis, meaning of sense and values of world out of human being, about different ways of perceiving nature. A thesis brings closer the conflict between anthropocentric and biocentric approaches and introduces advantages and disadvantages of both of them. Dispute about ecological ethics stands open, but there is a way of connecting both concepts. In fine this thesis focuses on causes of nature distortion and possible approaches of resolution of ecological problems. There are listed strategies, especially philosophical. In brief is introduced Sustainable development.
