Tato práce je zaměřena na popis dosavadních znalostí o struktuře a funkci čichových receptorů hmyzu a možném využití těchto znalostí v boji proti škodlivému hmyzu. První část se věnuje výčtu nemocí, které jsou přenášeny komárem Aedes aegypti. Ve druhé části jsou stručně shrnuty obecné vlastnosti čichu a čichových receptorů hmyzu. This thesis is focused on the description of current knowledge about the structure and function of the insect odorant receptors and possible use of this knowledge to repel harmful insects. The first part lists diseases transmitted by Aedes aegypti mosqiuto. The second part characterises insect olfaction and its odorant receptors.
