Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce vstupuje do ustaveného pole akademických textů věnujících se populárnímu japonskému monstru Godzillovi. Narozdíl od dosavadních výzkumů však její ambice míří k vysvětlení jeho konstrukčních narativních principů, fikčního světa i stylistických nástrojů skrze nástroje poetiky fikce. Abstract:
This thesis enters an established field in film studies analyzing the popular Japanese monster Godzilla. However, from a different perspective - through poetics of fiction. It discovers how did the series stayed attractive for its viewers through a dialectical relationship between narrative and stylistic continuity and discontinuity.
