Tato práce si klade za cíl zmapovat většinu hudební tvorby Milana Svobody a tím přiblížit čtenáře k okolnostem jejího vzniku, dále se zabývá jeho dětstvím a jeho pedagogickou příručkou s názvem "Praktická jazzová harmonie". In this thesis I am trying to map most of Milan Svoboda's musical work, which should give the reader a better image of the circumstances that surrounded its creation. Milan Svoboda has definitely made a big contribution to the Czech jazz scene. He is one of the most important personalities, who have significantly influenced the development of Czech jazz music.
