Abstract:

The dissertation deals with three different topics. The first part concerns a study on a new group of compounds of the mono- and bis(imidazolyl) pyridine type, which is - in some respect - is continuation of the diploma thesis concerning the initial study of these organic compounds. The second part is related to a carbon paste electrode modified with thiourea-functionalised resin, the QuadraPureTM commercial product. The main investigation has then concerned the development of a method for the determination of Pb(II) ions in water samples, when the corresponding optimisation of key-experimental parameters is included as well. Finally, in the third part of this thesis, some new ways of characterisation of CPEs were the topic of choice, when the opening theoretical part surveys the already existing methods and procedures for such characterisation.

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá třemi různými tématy. V první části jde o polarografickou studii organických látek typu mono- resp. bis(imidazolyl)pyridinů, přičemž v teoretické části je nastíněna i kontroverzní pozice rtuti v současné elektrochemii a elektroanalýze. Druhá část se věnuje chemicky modifikované uhlíkové pastové elektrodě, s preparátem QuadraPureTU , coby vysoce efektivní modifikátor ke stanovení iontů olova ve vzorcích vod. Třetí téma pak popisuje možnosti charakterizace uhlíkových pastových elektrod, kde je poprvé navržen model nejtěsnějšího uspořádání grafitových částic k vysvětlení podstaty vysoké vodivosti uhlíkových past. Pozornost je věnována i některým novým možnostem charakterizace past na základě jejich složení a typu obou hlavních komponent.
