Inhibitory Effect of Oils on Selected Bacteria

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tematikou tuků a olejů. V teoretické části se nejprve rozebírá jejich struktura a složení, přičemž jsou zde celkově zařazeny do skupiny lipidů podle různých stanovisek. V návaznosti na tyto informace jsou v této práci zmiňovány i možné zdroje tuků a jejich význam pro lidskou společnost. Podrobněji je zde popisován olej olivový, lněný a konopný z důvodu jejich použití v praktické části bakalářské práce. V praktické části byly testovány inhibiční účinky lněného, konopného a olivového oleje na vybrané grampozitivní a gramnegativní bakterie.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with themes of fats and oils. At first in the theoretical part are fat and oils analyse of their structure and composition, which are generally classified into groups according to various lipids opinions. Following the information in this work are mentioned as the possible source of fats and their importance for human society. More details are here about oil olive, flax and hemp because of their use in practical part of the thesis. In the practical part are tested the inhibitory effects of flax, hemp and olive oil on selected Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
