The use of canistherapy in social work

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje canisterapii a jejímu využití v sociální práci. Cílem práce je odpovědět na otázku: "Jak je možné canisterapii využívat v sociální práci a jaké s sebou nese přínosy pro tento obor?" Teoretická část se zaměřuje na terminologické vymezení pojmu canisterapie a dalších pojmů s ní souvisejících, uvedeny jsou informace o historii, současnosti, roli v sociální práci a kdo, kde a jak ji může zprostředkovávat. Volně navazují teoretické poznatky, týkajících se přínosů canisterapie. Aplikační část je zpracována formou analýzy problému z praxe. Na demonstraci procesu canisterapie je možné vidět praktické postupy, jak pomáhají v naplnění individuálního cíle a jaké z nich pramení přínosy. V závěrečné části jsou uvedeny zjištěné poznatky a jejich vyhodnocení. Zahrnuta jsou i doporučení pro sociální pracovníky, kteří by chtěli tuto službu do své profese zapracovat.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with canistherapy and its use in social work. The aim of the thesis is to answer the question: "How can canistherapy be used in social work and what benefits it can bring for this field?" The theoretical part currently focuses on the terminological definition of the term canistherapy and other terms related to it, there is information about the history, the role in social work, and who, where and how can mediate it. Theoretical knowledge, related benefits of canistherapy are freely followed. The application part is processed by problem analysis from practice. On the demonstration of the canistherapy process, it is possible to see practical procedures, how they help to fulfill the individual goal and what are the benefits. The final part presents the findings and their evaluation. Recommendations for social workers who would like to incorporate this service into their profession are also included.
