The analysis of hazardous factors of using addictive substances in ninth graders of elementary school

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou rizikových faktorů užívání návykových látek u žáků 9. tříd základních škol. Teoretická část je zpracována do krátkých kapitol, ve kterých jsou řešeny otázky vztahující se ke zvolenému tématu. Zejména se jedná o vývojová období od narození až po adolescenci, období, v němž se žáci 9. tříd nacházejí. Dále se práce zabývá otázkami návykových látek, jejich vlivem na lidský organismus a otázkami prevence užívání těchto látek. V praktické části jsou prezentovány výsledky vlastního šetření, jehož cílem bylo zjistit rozdíl v užívání návykových látek žáky vybrané věkové skupiny, navštěvujícími základní školu v obci do tří tisíc obyvatel a základní školu, která se nachází se ve městě s necelými 48 tisíci obyvateli. Součástí práce jsou konkrétní závěry a doporučení pro praxi. Dosažené výsledky a stanovená doporučení jsou využitelná nejen v praxi speciální pedagogiky, ale i v dalších, tzv. pomáhajících profesích.

Abstract:

The undergraduate thesis deals with the issues of hazardous factors of the usage of addictive substances within nine-graders of elementary schools. The theoretical part is arranged into short chapters in which questions considering chosen topic are solved, in particular, developmental periods from the birth to adolescence, the period in which the nine-graders are present. Furthermore, the thesis deals with addictive substance issues, their influence on human body and the questions of using prevention to these substances. In the practical part, the outcome from the personal research is presented, its aim was to find out the difference in the usage of addictive substances between pupils of a chosen age attending an elementary school in a small town up to three thousand inhabitants and those attending an elementary school which is located in a town with almost forty-eight thousand inhabitants. The thesis includes tangible results and recommendations for praxis. These attained results and given recommendations are utilizable in the praxis of special pedagogy and also in other, so called assisting professions.
