Compositions for Strings in the Work of Hans Krása
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce „Skladby pro smyčcové nástroje v díle Hanse Krásy“ pojednává o komorních skladbách pražského židovského skladatele česko-německého původu Hanse Krásy (1899–1944). Přibližuje čtenáři okolnosti Krásova života v předválečném ovzduší, umělecké zrání a detailně se zabývá problematikou děl pro komorní smyčcové obsazení.
Abstract:
Thesis “Compositions for Strings in the Work of Hans Krasa” deals with chamber music of Hans Krasa (1899 – 1944), Jewish composer of Czech-German origin. The thesis describes circumstances of composer’s life in pre-war period and his artistic progress. Works for chamber string ensembles are described in detail as the main contribution of the thesis.
