Physiotherapy after Achilles tendon rupture

Abstract:

Úvod: Bakalářská práce se zabývá kazuistikou pacienta po ruptuře Achillovy šlachy. Cíl práce: Cílem bakalářské práce je přispět k řešení problematiky fyzioterapie u pacienta s rupturou Achillovy šlachy. Metodika: Hlavní část bakalářské práce se věnuje kazuistice jednoho pacienta po ruptuře Achillovy šlachy, u něhož byl proveden vstupní kineziologický rozbor. Na základě rozboru jsem vypracovala krátkodobý fyzioterapeutický plán, podle kterého byly následně vedené jednotlivé intervence po dobu třech měsíců. Na závěr jsem provedla výstupní kineziologický rozbor, a na podkladě výsledků vyplývajících z výstupního rozboru byl zpracován dlouhodobý fyzioterapeutický plán. Výsledky: Terapie postupně vedly ke zlepšování, vstřebal se otok, obnovila se hybnost hlezenního a Chopartova kloubu, jizva se stala pružnou, na závěr se posílila svalová síla a byly protaženy zkrácené struktury hlezenního kloubu. V neposlední řadě došlo k upravení stereotypu chůze. Závěr: Účinnost fyzioterapeutických intervencí spočíval ve správně zvolené terapii, která zohledňovala aktuální stav a potřeby pacienta. Úspěch byl dále podpořen správně zvolenou metodikou, která vyplývala z krátkodobého fyzioterapeutického plánu. Nesporný podíl na výsledcích terapií má pacient, který dodržoval domluvené autoterapie.

Abstract:

Introduction: The bachelor's thesis deals with the case report of a patient after rupture of the Achilles tendon. The objective: The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to contribute to solve the problem of physiotherapy in a patient with a ruptured Achilles tendon. Methodology: The main part of the bachelor's thesis is devoted to the case report of one patient after rupture of the Achilles tendon, who underwent an initial kinesiology analysis. Based on the analysis, I developed a short-term physiotherapy plan, according to which individual interventions were subsequently conducted for a period of three months. Finally, a final kinesiology analysis was performed, and a long-term physiotherapy plan was drawn up based on the results of the final analysis. Results: The therapies gradually led to improvement, the swelling was absorbed, the mobility of the ankle and Chopart joint was restored, the scar became flexible, finally the muscle strength was strengthened and the shortened structures of the ankle joint were stretched. Last but not least, the walking stereotype was modified. Conclusions: The effectiveness of physiotherapy interventions consisted in correctly chosen therapy that took into account the current condition and needs of the patient. The success was further supported by the correctly chosen methodology, which resulted from the short-term physiotherapy plan. An indisputable share in the outcome of the therapies belongs to the patient who followed the agreed self-therapy.
