Abstract:
Mikroskopické houby jsou běžnými kolonizátory kůže a gastrointestinálního traktu zdravé populace. U imunitně oslabených jedinců jsou častou příčinou morbidity a mortality. Nedostatečná citlivost a časová náročnost současných kultivačních a histologických metod vedou k rozvoji molekulárně-biologických technik, s jejichž pomocí je možné analyzovat klinické vzorky rychleji a s vyšší citlivostí. Microscopic fungi are common colonizers of the skin and gastrointestinal tract of healthy people but on the other hand they may cause mortality and morbidity in immunocompromised hosts.
