Evalution of counter-erosion planting of trees in the degraded area of the Umbullo Kajimma and Shamena Hurufa village communities in the southern part of Ethiopia

Abstract:

Práce spočívala zejména na sběru a zhodnocení dat stromovitých keřů Dodonea angustifolia, které spadá do čeledi Sapindaceae, na území jižní Etiopie v projektové oblasti města Awassa a přilehlých vesnických komunitách. V práci jsou také nashromážděny rešeršní materiály ohledně výsadeb dalších druhů dřevin a jejich potenciálu. Na základě stanovené metodiky, bylo provedeno terénní měření. Měření probíhalo na zkusných plochách, které byly vysazovány roku 2015. Výzkum zhodnocení protierozních výsadeb probíhal v únoru 2017.

Abstract:

The research consisted in collecting and evaluating data of the Dodonea angustifolia tree shrubs, which belong to the family Sapindaceae, in the territory of southern Ethiopia in the project area of Awassa and adjacent village communities. There are also research papers on the planting of other tree species and their potential. Based on the established methodology, field measurements were carried out.Measurements were carried out on plots that were planted in 2015. The survey of the erosion eradication was carried out in February 2017.
