Shortcomings in the realization and in the maintenance of road restraint systems

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o obsáhlé problematice zádržných systémů na pozemních komunikacích, které tvoří důležitou část bezpečnostního vybavení nejenom silnic a dálnic, a kterými jsou především různé typy svodidel, tlumičů nárazu a zábradelních systémů. Práce se zabývá identifikováním a analýzou nedostatků vznikajících během realizace, ale i při následné údržbě a taktéž analýzou závad vznikajících během provozu na pozemních komunikacích v České republice. Na základě rešerše odborné literatury, sběru a získání dat v „terénu“, provedených měření a dále s pomocí analýzy a vyhodnocení dat pak v práci budou navrhnuty změny nebo úpravy nejen v technických předpisech a postupech, ale hlavně v praxi správců pozemních komunikací, jež by mohly být nápravným opatřením a odstraňovat tak v důsledku zjištěné nedostatky při budoucích aplikacích.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the comprehensive issue of restraint systems on roads, which form an important part of the safety equipment not only of roads and highways, and which are mainly different types of crash barriers, impact absorbers and guardrail systems. The work deals with the mapping and analysis of shortcomings arising during realization, but also during following maintenance period, as well as the analysis of defects arising during operation on roads in the Czech Republic. Based on the research of professional literature, the collection and acquisition of data in the "field", the measurements carried out, and further with the help of data analysis and evaluation, changes or modifications will be proposed in the work not only in technical regulations and procedures, but mainly in the practice of road administrators, which would they could be a corrective measure and thus eliminate the identified deficiencies in future applications.
