The potential application of agrovoltaics in orchard production

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na aplikaci agrovoltaických systémů v sadařské produkci, specificky v kontextu jabloňových sadů. Na základě teoretického výzkumu a analýzy literatury zkoumá práce, principy a potenciál agrovoltaiky. Práce prezentuje návrhy modelových řešení agrovoltaických systémů implementovaných v jabloňových sadech, kde se analyzuje ekonomická efektivita a energetický výstup takových systémů. S využitím dvou modelových případů, s různou hustotou instalace fotovoltaických panelů, práce poskytuje srovnání energetických a finančních výsledků. Důraz je kladen na optimalizaci využití půdy a na ekonomické přínosy kombinované produkce, které zahrnují nejen produkci elektrické energie, ale i udržitelnost a produktivitu sadu. Výzkum také poukazuje na to, jak agrovoltaické systémy mohou zlepšit efektivitu využití půdy. Navíc práce identifikuje výzvy a omezení související s implementací těchto systémů a navrhuje možnosti pro jejich řešení. Závěry práce potvrzují potenciál agrovoltaiky jako významného přínosu pro sadařství a otevírají cestu pro další výzkum v této oblasti.

Abstract:

This thesis investigates the integration of agrovoltaic systems within apple orchards, focusing on both their theoretical foundations and practical implications. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature, it elucidates the principles and potential benefits of agrovoltaics. The study presents model solutions for implementing these systems in apple orchards, specifically analyzing their economic viability and energy production efficiency. By comparing two model cases with varying densities of photovoltaic panel installations, the thesis assesses the energy output and financial performance of each scenario. Special attention is given to optimizing land use and enhancing the economic returns from combined agricultural and electrical production, which also supports the sustainability and productivity of the orchard. Furthermore, the research identifies challenges and limitations in deploying agrovoltaic systems and offers practical solutions. The findings confirm the transformative potential of agrovoltaics in orcharding and recommend avenues for future research.
