Expansion of Right-wing Extremism in Europe in the Period 2019 - 2021

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Expanze pravicového extremismu v Evropě v období 2019–2021“ popisuje v teoretické části problematiku radikalizace, pravicového extremismu a terorismu. Dále se zabývá faktory ovlivňujícími expanzi pravicového extremismu v kyberprostoru v období 2019-2021, zejména tedy pandemií COVID-19 a Evropskou migrační krizí. Praktická část práce se pomocí dotazníkového šetření zaměřuje na povědomí specifického vzorku mladistvých o pravicovém extremismu a nebezpečí radikalizace.

Abstract:

Expansion of right-wing extremism in Europe in the period of 2019-2021" describes in the theoretical part the issues of radicalization, right-wing extremism, and terrorism. Furthermore, it deals with factors influencing the expansion of right-wing extremism in the cyberspace in the period of 2019-2021, specifically the COVID-19 pandemic and the European migration crisis. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the awareness of a specific sample of youth regarding right-wing extremism and the danger of radicalization through a questionnaire survey.
