The role of parents towards criminality prevention

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá zkušenostmi rodičů při výchově svých dětí v rámci primární prevence kriminality. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaké jsou důležité aspekty výchovy v rámci primární prevence kriminality dětí z pozice rodičů. Teoretická část vymezuje jednotlivé základní pojmy a definice, které se vztahují k rodině, rodičovství a výchově. Další kapitoly se věnují prevenci kriminality a kriminogenním faktorům, které vstupují do výchovy již od útlého dětství. Teoretickou část uzavírá výzkum vztahující se k problematice rodičovství. Ve výzkumné části, pomocí kvalitativního výzkumu a polostrukturovaného rozhovoru zjišťuji, co rodiče dělají pro to, aby se jejich dítě nestalo mladým delikventem. Výzkumným vzorkem jsou rodiče dětí ve věku rané adolescence. Vzorek respondentů je zaměřen na úplné, na první pohled zdánlivě funkční rodiny.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with parents experience in upbringing their children in context of primary prevention of criminality. Thus, this thesis is aimed to find out the important aspects of upbringing in the context of primary prevention of criminality. The theory part defines the boundaries of terms and definitions, which are connected to family, parenthood and upbringing. The following chapters focuses on prevention of criminality and criminogenic factors, which have come into the upbringing since the early childhood. The theory part is concluded by the research, which is focused to the parenthood issues. In the explorational part using the qualitative research and the semi-structured interviews we have found out what parents usually do not to become their child a juvenile delinquent. The research sample is to be meant the parents of children in early adolescence age. The sample of respondents is focused to the full and from the first sight ostensibly functional families.
