Material survey of Venetian Bible artefacts and the study of colouring changes due to artificial ageing
Abstract:
V této bakalářské práci se věnuji průzkumu fragmentů bible Benátské, která byla vytištěna roku 1506 (zkoumané vzorky byly nalezeny v roce 2010). Vzhledem k jedinečnosti tohoto nálezu pojednává práce kromě samotného materiálového průzkumu o Benátské bibli v širších souvislostech a srovnává vlastní závěry s výsledky průzkumů a zásahů na dalších známých výtiscích bible Benátské.
Abstract:
In this thesis I study fragments of the Venetian Bible that was printed in 1506 (fragments were found in 2010). Owing to uniqueness of the material, this thesis also aims at the Venetian Bible in general and compares own conclusions with the results of recent surveys on other prints of the Venetian bible.
