Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou informovanosti vysokoškolských studentů o problematice balbuties. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a část empirickou. Teoretickou část představují tři kapitoly, empirická část se skládá z jedné kapitoly. První kapitola teoretické části práce se zabývá vymezením problematiky koktavosti, její etiologií, symptomatologií a klasifikací. Druhá kapitola se věnuje podpoře osob s balbuties a zahrnuje terapii koktavosti, přístupy ke koktavosti a přehled doporučení pro balbutiky. Poslední teoretická kapitola je zaměřena na roli balbuties v životě. Zahrnuje balbuties v edukačním procesu a osobním životě. Dále obsahuje informovanost o balbuties v zahraničních šetřeních a v neposlední řadě se zabývá mýty týkající se problematiky koktavosti. Empirická část diplomové práce charakterizuje metodologii výzkumného šetření, výzkumný vzorek a výsledky vlastního výzkumného šetření. K dosažení výzkumného cíle bylo využito kvantitativního výzkumu, který probíhal formou dotazníkového šetření v internetovém prostředí. Na základě zpracování výsledků z výzkumného šetření byly zodpovězeny vytyčené hypotézy a parciální cíle.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with an analysis of university students´ awareness related to stuttering. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part consists of three chapters and the practical part involves one chapter. The first chapter of the theoretical part is dedicated to a demarcation of basic definitions of stuttering, its aetiology, symptomatology and classification. The second chapter includes therapy of stammering, attitudes towards stuttering and advice for people with stuttering. The last theoretical chapter is focused on stuttering consequences of education and personal life. Furthermore, it also deals with an outlook on stuttering in foreign countries and myths related to stuttering. The empirical part of the diploma thesis comprises the methodology of the research, research sample and results of survey research itself. Quantitative kind of research was realized via online questionnaires to achieve the set aim. On the basis of the analysed results of the research, the set hypothesis and partial objectives were answered.
