Abstract:
Cílem práce je popis a zhodnocení jedné z nejvýznamnějších bitev americké občanské války. V úvodu práce se bude autor nejprve věnovat válečné situaci, která bitvě předcházela a také důvodům, které k občanské válce vedly. Z hlavní části bude práce dále již zaměřena na samotnou bitvu. Thegoal of the thesis is description and analysis one of the most important battle of American civil war. In the introduction the author will pay attention to the war situation which preceded the battle and also the reasons that led to the civil war.
