Perception of risk in relation to one's own antisocial behavior

Abstract:

This bachelor’s thesis examines the relationship between perception of risk and self-reported antisocial behavior. It aims to determine whether there is a statistically significant relationship between perception of risk and antisocial behavior. Data from the Czech part of the international SAHA project, which focused on risk and protective factors of development in adolescence in the form of a questionnaire survey, were used for this thesis. To analyze the data, the scale of perception of risk and the scales of antisocial behavior: conduct problem, non-violent deliquency and violent deliquency, were used. The data were analyzed individually for male and female age groups of 12 (N = 1447), 14 (N = 1526) and 16 (N = 1903) year olds. For all groups, there was a statistically significant negative relationship between risk perception and antisocial behavior.

Abstract:

Táto bakalárska práca sa zaoberá vzťahom medzi percepciou rizík a vlastným antisociálnym správaním. Jej cieľom je zistiť, či existuje štatisticky významný vzťah medzi percepciou rizík a antisociálnym správaním. Pre túto prácu boli využité dáta z českej časti medzinárodného projektu SAHA, ktorý sa v podobe dotazníkového prieskumu zameriaval na rizikové a protektívne faktory vývoja v adolescencii. Dáta boli spracované pomocou korelačnej analýzy. K analýze bola využitá škála percepcie rizík a škály antisociálneho správania: škála problémového správania, menej závažnej delikvencie a závažnej delikvencie. Dáta boli spracované jednotlivo pre mužov a ženy vekovej kohorty 12 (N = 1447), 14 (N = 1526) a 16 (N = 1903) ročných. U všetkých skupín sa preukázal štatisticky významný negatívny vzťah medzi percepciou rizík a antisociálnym správaním.
