Found Conditions of the Bronze Hoards of the Early and Late Bronze Age

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje bronzovým depotům z období mladší a pozdní doby bronzové na území Čech. Jejím úkolem je se, na základě všech dostupných informací o nálezových okolnostech, pokusit definovat obecnější zákonitosti jejich deponování. V první části je věnována pozornost vymezení sledovaného období a stručným charakteristikám kultur, jejichž nositelé depoty ukládali. Dále jsou sledovány dějiny bádání a také chronologické horizonty depotů. Další části jsou věnovány analýzám vnitřních a vnějších kontextů depotů. Velmi stručně jsou zde také nastíněny možnosti interpretace. Stěžejní pro tuto práci je vypracování databáze bronzových depotů, pocházejících z území Čech.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on bronze hoards from the early and late bronze age from the lands of Bohemia. Its main goal is to try to define general principles about their depositioning, based on all known information and whereabouts. The first part aims to define the observed time period and briefly explain the characteristics of cultures, whose bearers deposited the hoards. These phenomenons are followed by the observation of historical research and chronological horizons of the hoards. The next parts intend to analyze the internal and external contexts of the hoards. A brief explanation is also dedicated to the possibilities of interpretation. The crucial factor of this thesis is the creation of a database of the bronze hoards coming from the lands of Bohemia.
