The Possibilities of Realization Inquiry-Based Science Education in Lessons Science from Primary School

Abstract:

Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá koncepcí badatelsky orientovaného vzdělávání v podmínkách základních škol. Se specifikací na hodiny prvouky se autorka věnuje aplikaci koncepce v podmínkách primárního vzdělávání. Cílem práce bylo systematizovat teoretické poznatky o badatelsky orientovaném vzdělávání a objasnit, jak učitelé pracují s touto koncepcí na hodinách prvouky. Součástí práce je výzkumná část, která je zaměřena na analýzu práce učitelů prvního stupně základních škol. Autorka pracovala s deseti učiteli ze šesti základních škol a využila metody nestrukturované pozorování a polostrukturovaný rozhovor. Ve výzkumu bylo zjištěno, že učitelé na svých hodinách prvouky čerpají některé postupy z koncepce badatelsky orientovaného vzdělávání. Diplomová práce odkryla různé způsoby aplikace badatelsky orientovaného vzdělávání s důrazem na sledování práce žáků, i učitelů.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the concept of Inquiry-based Science Eduacation in primary schools. The author investigates how the concept is applied, aiming to systematize theoretical knowledge of Inquiry-based Science Education, and to clarify how teachers work with this concept in lessons of Basic science. The research part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of the work of primary school teachers. The author worked with ten teachers in six primary schools, using the methods of unstructured observation and a semi-structured interview. The research found that these teachers draw some techniques from the concept of Inquiry-based Science Education. The diploma thesis revealed various ways of applying Inquiry-based Science Education with an emphasis on monitoring the work of both students and teachers.
