Memorable trees in the Frýdek-Místek region

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá památnými stromy v okrese Frýdek – Místek. Na začátku je popsána problematika týkající se památných stromů a jejich ochrany v České republice. Následně je nastíněn význam stromů pro lidskou společnost, i jejich symbolika, spolu s ochranou významných dřevin v minulosti a současnosti. Velká pozornost je věnována zpracování a zmapování již vyhlášených památných stromů ve vybraném regionu. V rámci bakalářské práce jsou také navrženi jedinci, kteří by se dalšími památnými stromy daného regionu mohli stát. Nechybí zde ani popis provedených úkonů vedoucích k jejich vyhlášení. V příloze se nachází konkrétní fotografie těchto dřevin.

Abstract:

At the beginning the problems related to memorial trees and their protection in the Czech Republic are described. Subsequently, the importance of trees for human society is outlined, and their symbolism, along with the protection of important tree species in the past and present. Great attention is paid to the processing and mapping of well-known memorial trees in the selected region. The bachelor thesis also proposes individuals, who could become the other memorable trees of the region. There is also a description of the actions that led to their announcement. Attached are photos of these trees.
