The effects of social networks on social relations in real lives of young generation

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou sociálních vztahů v reálném životě (offline vztahy) a na sociálních sítích (online vztahy) u věkové kategorie 18-25 let, která tak představuje mladou generaci. Teoretická část práce se zabývá sociálními vztahy v kontextu teorie sociální motivace a sociálního učení, dále zpracovává složky sociálních vztahů, osamělost a proměny vztahů v době digitální. Dále se věnuje problematice sociálních sítí, jejich vývoji, specifikům a dopadu z hlediska neurobiologického a psychologicko-sociálního. Rovněž popisuje cílovou skupinu, která je zařazena do období adolescence a mladé dospělosti. Empirická část práce zahrnuje výsledky kvantitativního šetření, jehož cílem bylo zjistit souvislost mezi offline a online vztahy a také zjistit souvislost mezi pocity osamělosti s offline a online vztahy. Výzkumné šetření bylo provedeno metodou dotazníku.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of social relationship in real life (offline relationships) and on social networks (online relationships) in the age category of 18-25 years, which represents the young generation. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with social relationships in the context of the theory of social motivation and social learning, it also deals with the components of social relationships, loneliness and changes in relationships in the digital age. It also deals with the issue of social networks, their development, specifics and impact of neurobiological and psychological-social point of view. It also describes the target group, which is included in the period of adolescence and young adulthood. The empirical part of the work includes the results of a quantitative survey, which aimed to determine the connection between offline and online relationships and also to determine the connection between feelings of loneliness with offline and online relationships. The research was carried out using the questionnaire method.
