Abstract:
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to assess vitality of the Tlingit language native to the Tlingit people of the North American Northwest Pacific coast. The thesis provides context discussing Tlingit tribe's geographic environment, history, society, subsistence and culture. Bakalářská práce se zaobírá zhodnocením vitality jazyka Tlingit, který je původním jazykem kmene Tlingitů žijícího na severozápadním pobřeží Severní Ameriky. Práce poskytuje základní informace o kmeni a jeho zeměpisných, historických, společenských, každodenních a kulturních reáliích.
