Occupational therapy in geriatrics

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na téma ergoterapie v geriatrii a je dělena na část teoretickou, speciální a hlavní. V teoretické obecné části se práce zabývá vysvětlením pojmů stáří stárnutí, geriatrie a gerontologie, symptomy stáří a nejčastějšími nemocemi vyskytujícími se v geriatrii. Ve speciální části je práce zaměřená na pojem ergoterapie v geriatrii a její cíle, ergoterapii samotnou a popsání kognitivní rehabilitace a pohybovou aktivitu. Hlavní část této práce se věnuje mě geriatrické pacientce, vstupnímu vyšetření, krátkodobému plánu a jeho realizaci a následným výstupním vyšetřením s dlouhodobým ergoterapeutickým plánem.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the occupational therapy in geriatrics and it is divided into theoretical, special and principal part. In the theoretical part of the thesis it deals with the explanation of the terms old age, aging, geriatrics and gerontology, the most common symptoms of old age and illness occurring in geriatrics. In a special part of the work is focused on the concept of occupational therapy in geriatrics and its goals, occupational therapy and describing cognitive rehabilitation and physical activity. The main part of this work is devoted to my geriatric patient, initial examination, a short-term plan and its implementation and subsequent output examination with a long-ergo-therapeutic plan.
