Attempts at reconciliation of the Christian East and West
Abstract:
Tato práce mapuje pokusy o obnovení jednoty mezi křesťanským východem a západem po Velkém schizmatu, ke kterému došlo v roce 1054. V práci jsou popsány rozdíly, které vznikaly po odloučení křesťanských církví. Je zde věnována pozornost ekumenismu, který umožňuje vzájemnou komunikaci mezi církvemi a pomáhá tak jejich sblížení.
Abstract:
This work charts the attempts to restore unity between the Christian East and West after the Great Schism in 1054. The paper explains the differences that arose after the separation of Christian churches. Attention is paid to ecumenism, which allows communication between the churches help their rapprochement.
