Genes responsible for unusual coloured caryopses of common wheat
Abstract:
Pšenice setá (Triticum aestivum) patří mezi nejvýznamnější zemědělské plodiny. Netradiční zabarvení obilek u některých genotypů pšenice je způsobeno tvorbou flavonoidů v pletivu. Exprese genů pro enzymy biosyntetické dráhy flavonoidů je místně i časově ovlivněna specifickými regulačními faktory. Některé regulační geny již byly identifikovány a lokalizovány. Abstract:
Common wheat (Triticum aestivum) belongs among the most important agricultural crops. Unusual pigmentation of caryopses in some of the genotypes of wheat is caused by production of flavonoids in the plant tissue. Expression of genes encoding enzymes of biosynthetic pathway of these flavonoids is locally and time affected by specific regulatory factors.
