Identification soft skills in competency model of social worker working with mentally handicapped clients

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci jsem se zabývala vybranými kompetencemi a měkkými dovednostmi a jejich využitím v práci sociálního pracovníka, pracujícího s lidmi s mentálním postiže-ním. Využití měkkých dovedností, je dle mého názoru, nejdůležitější v komunikaci s lidmi s mentálním postižením. Mám za to, že ne každý pracovník v sociální oblasti umí měkké dovednosti využít při své práci. V teoretické části v úvodu vysvětlím, proč mě dané téma upoutalo. Vymezím, co je cílem mé práce. Vysvětlím pojmy měkké dovednosti a kompetence sociálního pracovníka. V této práci jsem se zaměřila na klienty s projevy agrese, jak využít kompetence ve spojení s měkkými dovednostmi při sociální práci s těmito klienty. V praktické části jsem komparovala kazuistiky dvou klientů s agresivními projevy chování. Cílem komparace kazuistik bylo vytvořit soubor měkkých dovedností a jejich využití v práci sociálního pracovníka, vytvoření teoretického návodu, jak s lidmi s mentálním postižením s projevy agrese komunikovat, eliminovat agresivní projevy klientů k vzájemné spokojenosti. V závěrečné části jsem vyhodnotila nejdůležitější měkké dovednosti a jak je v různých situacích používat při spolupráci s klientem s mentálním postižením při řešení konfliktu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on selected competencies of soft skills and its using in the work of those social workers who work with mentally disabled people. using of soft skills is in my opinion the most important part in communication with mentally disabled people. I think that not every social worker is capable of using the soft skills in their work. In the introduction part can be find explanation why the choosed topic interested my attention. I will define the aim of thesis and the concept of soft skills and competencies of social worker will be explained. This thesis is also focused on clients with manifestation of aggression and how to use competetencies in connection with soft skills in social work with this type of clients. In practical part there can be find a comparison of two different clients with aggressive behavior. The aim of the comparison is to create a file of soft skills and its usage in a social worker's task, create a set of theoretical instructions ded?cated about how to communicate with aggressive clients, how to eliminate their aggressive manifestation to end up with both side, social worker and client, satisfaction. In the final part is evaluated the most important soft skills and the using of them in different situations in cooperation with mentally disabled clients in conflict situations.
