Resocialization of permanently non-working persons in the execution of the imprisonment sentence at the Remand prison in Ostrava

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o možnostech resocializace trvale pracovně nezařaditelných osob ve výkonu trestu odnětí svobody ve Vazební věznici Ostrava. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaké možnosti resocializace tyto osoby v rámci programu zacházení mají. Jedná se o specifickou skupinu odsouzených vyžadující individuální přístup. Teoretická část bakalářské práce je zaměřena na charakteristiku Vězeňské služby České republiky a stručný popis Vazební věznice Ostrava. Součástí teoretické části je rovněž popis významu a účelu trestu odnětí svobody a popis základních pojmů. Praktická část je zaměřena na vyhodnocení dotazníkového šetření, jehož pomocí se podařilo zjistit, o jaké speciálně výchovné a zájmové aktivity projevují odsouzené osoby největší zájem, a které aktivity by v rámci výkonu trestu uvítaly. Vyhodnocením dotazníkového šetření se podařilo vyhodnotit možnosti resocializace trvale pracovně nezařaditelných osob ve Vazební věznici Ostrava, a tím naplnit cíl bakalářské práce. Výzkumné cíle byly naplněny.

Abstract:

The bachelor´s thesis deals with the possibilities of resocialization of permanently non-working persons in the execution of the imprisonment sentence at the Remand prison in Ostrava. The aim of this work is to find out what possibilities of resocialization there are for these persons in the treatment programme. This specific group of convicts requires an individual approach. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the characteristics of the Prison service of the Czech Republic and a brief description of the Remand prison in Ostrava. The theoretical part also includes a description of the meaning and purpose of the imprisonment sentence and a delineation of basic terms. The practical part explores the evaluation of the questionnaire survey, which helped to figure out what special educational and interest activities the convicted persons are most interested in and which activities they would welcome in the execution of the sentence. By evaluating the questionnaire survey, it has been managed to assess the possibilities of resocialization of permanently non-working persons in the Remand prison in Ostrava and thus to reach the aim of the bachelor´s thesis. The research objectives have been achieved.
