Contemporary novolette in Quebec

Abstract:

Annotation: The main topic of my bachelor´s work is an analysis of a contemporary novolette in Quebec. In the first part I focus on the analysis of a novolette as a genre, I study its position among other genres. Other parts of my work are devoted to literary works of contemporary authors in Quebec such as G. Pellerin, A. Carpentier, S. Massicotte and M. Proulx.Each novolette collection is assesed from the point of different features, afterwards my work analyses novellas´ common signs.

Abstract:

Anotace: Hlavním tématem bakalářská práce je rozbor současné québecké novely. V první části se práce zaměřuje na analýzu novely jako žánru, na její postavení v porovnání s ostatními literárními žánry. Další části jsou věnovány rozboru děl současných québeckých autorů novel jako jsou G. Pellerin, A. Carpentier, S. Massicotte a M. Proulx. Jednotlivé sbírky novel jsou nejdříve posuzovány z hlediska odlišných znaků a potom se analýza zaměřuje na společné prvky, které se v nich objevují.
