Vycházíme ze skutečnosti, že posílení (empowerment) je Souhrnnou metodikou podporovaného zaměstnávání definováno jako metoda práce s klienty. Dokumenty EU je též posílení bráno jako možný způsob naplňování cílů v oblasti politiky sociální inkluze. Přesto všechno není posílení či způsob jeho naplňování v naší literatuře nějak více rozveden. A to nejen pro oblast podporovaného zaměstnávání. Podnětem pro výzkum tedy byla otázka, jaký vliv má tato skutečnost na provádění samotné praxe v agenturách podporovaného zaměstnávání. Výzkum byl proveden ve dvou agenturách a to formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů se dvěma vedoucími a čtyřmi sociálními pracovníky. Na základě učiněných zjištění můžeme konstatovat, že pracovníky agentur podporovaného zaměstnávání je při práci s klientem obsah posilujícího přístupu převážně uvědomován a do praxe uváděn. Pracovníky byla též potvrzena domněnka o nedostatečnosti literatury v této oblasti.

Institution: Faculty od Social Studies, MU Brno Name of Diploma Thesis: Using the method of empowerment as the way of work with clients of supported employment Number of Words: 21 932 Key Words: empowerment inclusion participation suppoerted employment The main goal of this thesis is to answer a question: In what grade, is the method of empowerment, realized and practicised by agencies providing the services of support employment. We are verifying the providing services in the agencie of supported employment, which should be done by the method of empowerment as it is definied by Souhrnná metodika podporovaného zaměstnávání. By the docoment of EU, the method of empowerment is also mentioned in the polici of social inclusion. However, the principels of empowerment or using of this method is not desribed almost not at all in czech langueage literture. This was the original inspiration for writing this thesis, when we wanted to find out if that small amount of information about empowerment is enought to it’s successful practising. The research was done in two agencies with four social workers and two management workers who are involved in process of making the plans for woking with clients. We find out, that the method of empowerment is realized and practiced almost at full level. However, we lack the more emphasis in that part of empowerment, that consider social inclusion on another level that direct empolyment of the clients. We also recognized insufficient financial support for continuing schooling of agency’s employees.
