Creation, reflection and learning from the bachelor film on the theme of "Stranger" from the point of view of the animator and director.

Abstract:

V bakalárskej práci popisujem proces vytvorenia môjho bakalárskeho filmu Cizinec. Písomná práca popisuje celý proces natáčania cez vytvorenie scenáru, všetky výrobné postupy, stretnutia s ťažkosťami a ich riešenia. Prvá časť obsahuje základné informácie o príbehu, v ktorom hrdina prichádza do prekliatej dediny. Film je inšpirovaný francúzskou legendou o beštii z Gévaudanu. Potom vysvetľujem kombináciu kreslenej animácie s počítačovou a ich použitie vo filme. Taktiež analyzujem výtvarné spracovanie filmu a vysvetľujem proces vytvárania charakterov, beštie, pozadí a samotného pohybu. Ďalej popisujem zvukovú zložku filmu - ruchy typické pre jednotlivé obrazové zložky a hudbu, ktorá dotvára atmosféry. V záverečnej časti hodnotím prácu na filme a ponaučenia, ku ktorým som počas tvorby dospela.

Abstract:

In my graduation paper, I descibe the process of making my final film project Stranger. My graduation paper describes the whole filming process including creating a screenplay, all the production stages, difficulties encountered and problems solved. First I give the synopsis of the story of one man, who comes to a cursed village. The film is inspired by the Beast of Gévaudan - an old French legend. Then I explain the combined classical drawn animation and PC animation techniques used and the reason for my choice. I also analyse the artwork design and explain the process of creating the characters, the beast, the background and movements. I talk about the sound aspect of the film ? the sound effect typical for single aspect and music which creates atmosphere. I conclude my paper with a reflection on what I have achieved in my work and the lessons I have learned in the process.
