Measurement of the Product Surface after Fiber Laser Processing

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou laserového obrábění a jeho dopady na kvalitu povrchu vybraných materiálů. V teoretické části je poskytnut souhrnný přehled o nekonvenčních metodách obrábění. Důraz je kladen na popis procesů laserového obrábění a jeho účinků na materiál v kontextu současných norem hodnocení jakosti povrchu. Tato část dále popisuje metody a zařízení pro hodnocení drsnosti povrchu. Praktická část práce zkoumá, jak definovaná nastavení vláknového laseru ovlivňují drsnost povrchu, konkrétně parametry Ra a Rz, přičemž výsledky měření jsou statisticky analyzovány v softwaru Minitab.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the issue of laser machining and its effects on the surface quality of selected materials. The theoretical part provides a comprehensive overview of unconventional machining methods. Emphasis is placed on the description of laser machining processes and its effects on the material in the context of current surface quality assessment standards. This section also describes methods and equipment for surface roughness evaluation. The practical part of the thesis investigates how defined fiber laser settings affect surface roughness, specifically the parameters Ra and Rz, and the measurement results are statistically analyzed in Minitab software.
