The multifactorial approach to treating whiplash-associated disorders of a professional tennis player: case report

Abstract:

Neck pain is an acute multifactorial disorder with a tendency to become chronic if it is not treated promptly and correctly; present on a large scale in the population and affects individuals of all ages, sexes and biopsychosocial conditions; it has various clinical manifestations and is determined by physical, psychosocial and individual risk factors. "Whiplash" traumatic cervical syndrome is a pathological condition that mostlyaffects the anatomical region of the neck, shoulders and arms and typically derives from car and sports accidents.

Il dolore cervicale ? un disturbo multifattoriale acuto con tendenza a cronicizzarsi se non viene trattato tempestivamente e nella maniera corretta;presentesularga scalanella popolazioneecolpisce soggetti di ogni et?, sesso e condizione biopsicosociale; presentavarie manifestazioni cliniche ed ? determinato da fattori di rischio fisici, psicosociali e individuali.
