Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, první část je teoretická část a druhá je část praktická. Teoretická část především pojednává o základech penologie a ukládání druhů trestů, historii českého vězeňství, Vězeňské službě ČR či chodu věznic. This bachelor thesis is divided in two parts, the first part is theoretical and the second part is practical. The theoretical part is more about basics of penology and punishing, history of the Czech prisons, prison service of the Czech Republic or operation of prisons.
