Population development projections

Abstract:

Obsahem práce je shrnutí a popis faktorů, procesů a metod sloužících k sestavování prognóz vývoje obyvatelstva. Zabývá se a vysvětluje procesy mající vliv na početní stav obyvatelstva, události, přes které se změna uskutečňuje, jejich složky, faktory, které počty událostí ovlivňují. Věnuje se kategorizaci a vysvětlení struktur populací, úkolům demografie a vědeckým postupům popisným i vysvětlujícím. Hledá odpověď na otázku, co ovlivňuje výsledky populačních prognóz. Vlastním postupem evaluuje navrženou metodu výpočtu populační projekce. V závěrečné části je vypracována vlastní populační projekce ve variantách.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on a summary and description of the factors, processes and methods that are used for assessing the prognoses of population development. It deals with and explains the processes that influence the population, it also deals with events that make the change possible, its components and factors that influence the number of events. It engages in categorization and explanation of population structures, the roles of demography and scientific methods both descriptive and expressive. It seeks an answer to the question what influences the results of the population prognoses. It evaluates the suggested method of the calculation of population projection by its own procedure. My own population projection with its variations is made in the final part of the thesis.
