Diplomová práce se zabývá volbami do Senátu v České republice v roce 2018. Pozornost je soustředěna na podporu vybraných kandidátů v osmi senátních volebních obvodech. Teoretická část práce se věnuje senátním volbám v České republice, ale také volební geografii a konceptu konfliktních linií, z jejichž zjištění vychází i tato práce. Abstract:
The diploma thesis deals with the senatorial elections in the Czech Republic in 2018. Attention is focused on the electoral support of selected candidates in eight senatorial elections districts. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the Senate in the Czech Republic, with electoral geography and the concept of cleavages. This thesis is based on findings from these fields of study.
