The aim of this bachelor thesis is to search for the characteristics of the argentine identity in the novels of Amalia written by José Mármol and El beso de la mujer araña written by Manuel Puig. Předmětem této bakalářské práce je hledání rysů argentinské identity v románech Amalia od Josého Mármola a El beso de la mujer araña od Manuela Puiga. První část se zaměřuje na život a tvorbu autorů, rovněž tak je práce založena na historickém a sociokulturním kontextu doby, ve kterém byly romány napsány.
