How a Magic System Can Ruin a Narrative: The Force
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem magických systému, nebo přesněji jak mohou magické systémy mohou potenciálně poškodit příběh. K tomuto účelu je analyzován magický systém z Hvězdných válek, známý jako Síla. Tímto způsobem je podpořeno tvrzení, že magické systémy musí být tvořeny s opatrností.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of magic systems, or more accurately how magic systems can potentially cause harm to a narrative. For that purpose a magic system from Star wars, known as the Force, is analysed. This way the claim is that magic systems need to created carefully is supported.
