Individual Assignment in the Field of Digital Design According to the Student's Project

Abstract:

Cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce je navrhnúť logopedickú aplikáciu so zameraním na domáce precvičovanie problémových hlások v slovenskom jazyku. Aplikácia je navrhnutá pre deti v predškolskom veku, potýkajúce sa s miernou poruchou komunikačnej schopnosti. Hlavným zámerom aplikácie je motivovať deti k pravidelnému precvičovaniu logopédie, prostredníctvom použitia gamifikačných prvkov a atraktívneho vizuálneho riešenia. V aplikácii je pre deti vytvorené prostredie, ktoré ich do cvičení aktívne zapojí hravou formou s využitím ilustrácií a zaujímavých prvkov ktoré zabezpečujú, že cvičenia sú pre deti motivujúce. Aplikácia je prispôsobená v nastaveniach tak aby deti mohli dosahovať zlepšenie vlastným tempom. Predpokladá sa, že pravidelným upevňovaním nadobudnutých vedomostí prostredníctvom interaktívnych prvkov deti získajú nielen väčšiu dôveru vo svoje schopnosti, ale tiež chuť rozvíjať svoje komunikačné zručnosti. Celkovým zámerom je, aby aplikácia nielen pomáhala v riešení problémových hlások, ale aj podporovala rečový rozvoj detí.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design a speech therapy application that focuses on home practice of problem letters in the Slovak language. The app is specifically designed for preschool children who struggle with mild communication impairment. The main purpose of the app is to motivate children to practice regularly through the use of gamification elements and attractive visual solutions. The aim is to create an environment that will keep children entertained and engaged in letter exercises. Using playful illustrations and interesting visual elements, the app aims to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in which children will enjoy their learning. In addition, the app will also try to provide progressive exercises and tasks so that children can progress at their own pace and make incremental improvements. With regular practice and the use of interactive elements, children should gain more confidence in their abilities and develop their communication skills. The overall aim is that the app should not only assist in problem solving letters but also support children's overall language development.
