The use of logotherapy in coronavirus time

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je přiblížení problematiky logoterapie, jejích hlavní principů a důležitých osobností, s ní spojených. Aby práce mohla přinést nové poznatky, bude zasazena do kontextu s pandemií covidu-19. Cílem je tedy vybrané principy a techniky logoterapie vyzkoušet na vzorku lidí, kteří se vdůsledku pandemie potýkají snáročnými a často bezvýchodnými situacemi, jako jsou nezaměstnaní, nemocní, senioři, studenti nebo samoživitelé. Záměrem je také zjistit, zdali a jak by v takové situaci mohla logoterapie pomoct, a také navrhnout, jak jim ji zprostředkovat lidem, kterým by mohla pomoct. Jedná se o kvalitativní výzkum s využitím jedné, nebo více metod výzkumu. Nejvíce se přikláním k využití semi-strukturovaného dotazování a experimentu. Jednotliví respondenti ve věku od 20 do 80 let budou vybráni tak, aby reprezentovali konkrétní skupinu (např. nezaměstnaní, senioři...). Respondenti budou vybráni z mého okolí, ale také bych velmi ráda zahájila spolupráci se Společností pro logoterapii a existenciální analýzu, z. s.

Abstract:

The objective of the thesis is to approach the problematic of logotherapy, its main principles and important personalities, which participated in its development. In order for the thesis to bring new knowledge, it will be placed in the context of Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, the aim is to try out the chosen techniques and principles on the sample of people who are facing difficult and often hopeless situations because of the pandemic, such as unemployed, ill, elderly, students or single parents. The intent of the thesis is to find out how the logotherapy could help them and suggest how to provide it to them. It should have been qualitative research using one or more research methods. I am most inclined to use the method of semi-structured questioning and experiment. The individual respondents aged 20 to 80 years will be chosen in the way so they represent the specific group (for example unemployed, elderly...). The respondents will be chosen from my area, but I would also like to start cooperating with the voluntary association Society for Logotherapy and Existential Analysis.
