The Good-Lives Model therapeutic programme in a specialised prison ward.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce zkoumá efektivitu terapeutického programu GLM (Good-Lives Model), který je určen odsouzeným, kteří spáchali násilný trestný čin. Násilné chování je nejčastějším důvodem, jak se dostat za zdi věznice. Cílem této práce bylo co nejvíce přiblížit prostředí, ve kterém vzniká agrese, a pomoci s ní bojovat. Pro získání dat jsem použil dotazníkové šetření, v němž jsem získal odpovědi 13 z 15 od-souzených, kteří se programu GLM účastní. Protože respondentů bylo málo, ještě jsem provedl rozhovor s jedním odsouzeným, absolventem tohoto projektu. Ohlasy na moje šetření byly pozitivní ze strany odsouzených. Doporučoval bych i nadále pokračovat v tomto programu a dále šířit jeho vizi.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis examines the efficacy of the GLM (Good-Lives Model) therapeutic programme for prisoners who have committed a violent crime. This is because violent behaviour is the most common reason for imprisonment. The aim of the thesis is to gain as much insight as possible into the environment in which aggression occurs in order to combat it. The data was collected via a questionnaire survey, to which 13 of the 15 prisoners participating in the GLM programme responded. Due to the limited number of respondents, an additional interview was conducted with one prisoner who had graduated from the project. The prisoners' responses to the research were positive. It is therefore recommended that this programme should be continued and its vision extended to other target groups.
