The aim of this thesis is to analyze the level of professional knowledge and efficiency when using techniques of the validation method created by Naomi Feil®. The survey was conducted in various geriatric institutions in Lower Austria. The focus was also kept on how the nursing staff perceive further education in terms of the validation techniques.
