This master’s thesis deals with the selected dramatic works of Martin Walser. The introductory part aims to depict the life of this German author and his work. The second part is focused on his two dramas – "Der Schwarze Schwan" and "Überlebensgroß Herr Krott: Requiem für einen Unsterblichen". Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vybranými dramatickými díly Martina Walsera. V úvodní části práce si přiblížíme život tohoto německého autora a jeho dílo. Ve druhé části práce se věnujeme dvěma jeho vybraným dramatům – "Der Schwarze Schwan" (Smrtihlav) a "Überlebensgroß Herr Krott: Requiem für einen Unsterblichen" (Všemocný pan Krott: Rekviem za nesmrtelného).
