Problems of personnel management in the small company

Abstract:

Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou personální práce v malých organizacích. Cílem je zjistit, jaké jsou přínosy a nedostatky jednotlivých činností personální práce pro vybranou malou organizaci. Teoretická část práce nastiňuje teoretická východiska zkoumaného problému a zahrnuje kromě vymezení obecných specifik personální práce v malých organizacích také charakteristiku jednotlivých personálních činností. V návaznosti na charakter zkoumaného problému byla pro výzkum použita strategie kvalitativního výzkumu a technika hloubkového polostrukturovaného rozhovoru se zaměstnanci zkoumané organizace a jejím majitelem. Empirická část práce pak přináší vhled do názorů zaměstnanců a majitele organizace ohledně jednotlivých činností personální práce a jejich přínosů a nedostatků. Následně jsou v rámci diskuze v kontextu odborné literatury formulovány návrhy konkrétních aktivit, které by měly napomoci ke zlepšení problémových oblastí personální práce v organizaci.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the issue of personnel work in small organizations. The aim is to determine what are the benefits and shortcomings of HR activities for selected small organization. Theoretical part of the thesis describes the theoretical background of studied problem and in addition to the general definition of specifics of personnel work in small organizations it includes also characteristic of particular HR activities. In relation to the nature of researched problem was for the research used qualitative strategy and technology of depth semi-structured interviews with staff and the owner of the organization. The empirical part of this thesis provides insight into the views of employees and owner of the organization about the particular activities of personnel work and their benefits and shortcomings. Subsequently the discussion in the context of literature provides proposals of specific activities, which should help to improve the problem areas of HR in the organization.
